Day Five

Day 404-11-99
Last night I dreamt about crocs looking up recipes for humans on the Internet, so I decided to move camp.

The GPS tells me that I am now in a new location. Higher and drier ground! I had planned to go to Wolfe Creek Crater, the second largest meteorite crater in the world but was warned that thanks to the big wet, it might now be the second largest lake.

Felt very isolated. Used "PC Anywhere" software to access and control my computer back in the office. Read my e-mails and checked out some news on the Net. Realised I’m not isolated at all.

It’s pretty peaceful out here but hey, that doesn’t mean I want to stay forever.

Got onto the Intranet to make a few more updates to the final content of today’s diary page. The MiniSat MultiMedia demonstration is almost complete now.

Tomorrow is my last day.

I will be up-loading the completed site in the morning and then I’m off.

It’s not that I don’t like my new office but I am quite keen for a window to look out of, and an air conditioner to sit near.

Please visit me again tomorrow, I'm getting lonely.
